My favorite gua sha tool

My favorite gua sha tool. Has to but 3 more for everyone else in the office!

GOST 2 - MAGIC WAND

IASTM was the topic I chose to do my final PTA research project/presentation on 10yrs ago so I’m familiar with many different brands and styles. After I tested the GOST 2 on my mother I knew this was the only one I’d ever need! She had 15yrs of cervical and scapular restrictions where she could barely move. I worked on her Trigger Points and entire neck/back for 1 hour. The next day she demonstrated almost 90% return of ROM and no pain! She coined it the magic wand…the term stuck! It’s all encompassing application for literally any part of the body, its ergonomic shape allows for fantastic grip, plastic is WAY warmer than stainless steel, lightweight and it fits easily in my scrub pocket. Greasy/oily lotions wash right off with a little hot soapy water. If you’re trying to decide on a brand or style this is your answer. If I used this back to back on patients I might consider the one with the handle, but I don’t and prefer to use all the angles for different techniques and body parts. Exactly what we needed

A Great Tool

This tool was used in my Physical Therapy for relief of pain in my right arm. The therapist was of course more experienced concerning the use of the tool. I only wish that the tools came with instructions.
